While I was driving home from the annul doctor check up with band-aides on both my arms, I wondered about thoughts and animal thoughts. When humans think we think in words, like we are talking to ourselves, saying what we think, if you think much, and that is basically it. But sometimes you would have a thought with pure emotion, no words.

I was wondering if cats or dogs think in pure emotions and that our primitive selves are the ones thinking for us in emotions that we feel.

I remember watching something and I don't remember what but this is my thought (in words) and my question....

Our intellectual selves think in words and our primative selves think in emotions.....Is the intellectual self repressing the primative "soul" that stays with every man though he has evolved? And can these two sould co-habitate together? or is the intellectual self repressing the animal inside that is released through pure pleasure and in moments when instinct kick in.

Our anscestors had no language to think in so has the primative man evolved or is he still there?
